Welcome to Alma Autism – a faith-based initiative equipping churches to better understand, include, and support individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Rooted in compassion and guided by the love of Christ, we provide resources, training, and community connections to help church communities and congregations become more inclusive and welcoming to all. At Alma Autism, we believe every person is uniquely created by God and deserves a place to belong, worship, and thrive.
National Diversity Award 2026
Kirstyn Oliver has been shortlisted as a finalist for the National Diversity Awards 2026 from more than 80,000 nominations and votes. The prestigious awards ceremony will take place in Liverpool on 18 September 2026, where the winners will be announced. This recognition celebrates Kirstyn's work through Alma Autism in promoting greater understanding, acceptance, and inclusion of autistic people within churches and communities. Watch this space!

What is the Autism Spectrum and how we can go from a church who welcomes autistic people to a church that supports the spiritual needs of the autistic person and their family, helping them find a place of belonging in our

It focuses on what it means to embrace people’s differences with love and acceptance as well as practical ways in supporting those who are not reached with the Gospel.
Sensory Tray Bible Stories
Hands on practical workshop, teaching your group how to create a story using a sensory tray and explaining all the different
ways it can be used and the benefits of using this.
SEN and Children's Ministry
Focusing on children’s ministry with lots of practical advice and
support for those working alongside children within the church. We talk about
different teaching methods and learning styles and how to disciple children who learn differently.
